1. Discovery Phase

I begin each process with a free consultation to educate myself about your business. I make sure to ask all of the important questions. My goal is to improve your bottom line. I consider your current marketing plan, website strategy and your business goals, as well as the areas you want to improve upon, and what areas you may believe are not as successful as they can be.

  2. Proposal

After my initial meeting, I will customize a detailed proposal unique to your marketing needs designed to generate more business. I will only recommend marketing solutions that produce results. The proposal clearly outlines my timeline for deliverables, a detailed list of itemized features, technical specs and a contract. I will email you the proposal in PDF format.

From there, we schedule a second meeting or conference call to go over the proposal and any questions you may have. Once you’re ready, we sign the contract and collect a deposit and begin working.

  3. Strategy & Design

After signing the contract, I get started with the marketing plan and strategy. A successful website without a clear plan, is like a business without a business model – it doesn’t work. I construct a marketing plan to drive traffic to your website and convert those viewers into customers. I then take that marketing plan and begin designing your home page in Photoshop.

I present all web page designs to you and explain the reasoning behind each section. Typically the client has up to two revisions of the home page design and one revision on supporting pages. Upon approval, I move forward to the next step – development of the website.

  4. Development

When you approve the web design mockups, I start developing the website. I code and package the design into a WordPress theme. WordPress is a content management system that allows you to manage content and easily update your website online. Once the theme is developed, I show you the demo website on my server. I then test the website for any bugs. I take all aspects of the website into consideration … and make sure that it looks good on mobile devices and tablets as well as on a desktop. Upon approval from the client of the demo site, I go live and move the website to the client’s server (hosted by GoDaddy).

  5. Content Marketing

The completion of your website is only the beginning. I work on your search engine optimization and content marketing to increase user conversions into customers. Content marketing is incredibly important as it increases website traffic and sales, meets changing demands, maintains communication all while being a very cost effective way to provide customized offerings to a highly targeted demographic.

I typically develop a customized monthly retainer to meet the client’s specific needs. This involves blogging, social media engagement, search engine optimization to improve website keyword rankings in google, and improve website content based on user tracking tools.

  6. Tracking & Optimization

I continue working on your website by tracking website leads and conversions. Tracking is the best way to test the effectiveness of your website and marketing tools. This allows me to present the client with tangible data regarding the increase in business. I use google analytics, phone tracking, recorded user video sessions and A/B testing to continually improve the content and website to draw in more customers. This is the most important feature of a successful website. Tracking and optimization is typically part of the monthly website maintenance retainer. Contact me today to find out how I can help.
